Career events for internationals in the Netherlands

Career fairs and networking events are one of the friendlier ways to find your footing in the Dutch job market. You get to meet people face to face, ask the questions that are awkward to email, and come away with a much clearer picture than an evening of scrolling gives you.

This page collects the events worth your Saturday, along with some suggestions that help you get more out of them. Everything here is aimed at internationals living in the Netherlands, and everything runs in English unless noted otherwise.

Recommended career events

The IamExpat Fair

The largest event in the Netherlands for internationals, held three times a year in Eindhoven, The Hague and Amsterdam. A few hundred organisations in one place: recruiters, tax advisers, mortgage brokers, international schools, insurers and career coaches, plus a free workshop programme in English.

Each edition has its own page with the practical details, how to prepare, and what helps in the week afterwards.
